Behind the Book:
For over twenty years, Rosanne transcribed uplifting thoughts in journals. She prayed for direction and dreamt of an old man suggesting, "Why don't you call it: If You Gave God a Gift?"
Running with the idea, the title became the framework and the project took on its own direction. From God's perspective, what would a gift look like? The format evolved as she came up with the gifts (the 7 chapters):
1. GRATITUDE
2. LIFE
3. GROWTH
4. FORGIVENESS
5. CHARITY
6. LOVE
7. FAITH

What Makes the Book Different:
A writing teacher friend, prompted her to relate the quotes to her experiences. Thus the book became an anthology / memoir.
When she thought it was complete, she came across Ralph Waldo Emerson's quote: "I hate quotations. Tell me what you know."
Her whole project was undermined! What did she know?
Thus evolved her quote for each chapter.
